Dr. Mark Gerold was born in Pontiac, Michigan, and he is a graduate of the
University of Michigan in biochemistry. He obtained his medical degree at
Michigan State University in East Lansing. His residency was at North Oakland
Medical Center in Pontiac, Michigan. He is trained in acupuncture from the
Helms Medical Institute in California. He is certified in integrative
oncology, cognitive medicine and functional medicine. He is board certified in
Family medicine.
Dr. Gerold has 20 years of experience in family and urgent care medicine. In
addition to family medicine and urgent care, Dr. Gerold has a special interest
in integrative medicine, functional medicine, acupuncture, activator
technique, mold toxicity, intravenous nutrient therapy, BHRT, intraarticular
laser therapy and regenerative medicine including PRP, Prolotherapy and every
form of ozone including MAH, Prolozone, Hemozone, ENT ozone and ColonOzone.
He is an active member of American Academy of Ozone Therapy, American Academy
of Family Physicians, American Academy of Medical Acupuncture, Institute of
Functional Medicine and the International Society of Orthomolecular Medicine.
Dr. Gerold approaches each patient with a thorough history and exam to find
the multiple variables that contribute to the patient’s illness. His goal is
to spread a healthy lifestyle to all.
Dr. Gerold lives in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. He enjoys spending time with his
3 children. He likes learning about natural approaches to healing, biking,
hiking, camping and watching cinematography.
